Smile for the Camera 21st Edition - 03-02-10
This is a photo of Josephine GARIS COCHRAN. She is my great aunt (I guess I really should check that since I don't have her in my online family tree! She might be a great great aunt!!) Josephine was the first person to invent a practical dish washing machine. You can read about it here. Her design was patented on December 28, 1886. I think we owe her a great debt of gratitude!
